Can anyone help with the occupation of some of my ancestors. Their name was Weitmann (London) and they were size and colour makers in the early 1800s. I have tried all the google websites but no luck. |

Could they be paint manufacturers my dad was a painter and he use to size the walls before painting I think. |

It sounds like they made the pigments which go into paint to give the colour. |
