Evening all,

I THINK I have just discovered that my gg uncle was called into service for WW1.. (let me explain)

Stanley Malcolm R Gardner - birth reg Q3 1888 in Oxford (certificate on the way), married Priscilla Shephard in 1909.

When looking for more information on ancestry for him, I came across the document calling a Malcolm Robert Stanley Gardner into service for the war.
At the time that the document was signed - 1st Feb 1915, he was 26 and a half - if my maths is correct - that makes Q3 1888. - SO thats what makes me think that this is my gg uncle. I have searched cwgc.org, but cant see that he died in service.

How do I find out more about him?
(Not had much experience with military records)

Thanks in advance.

Karen
