Robert Haswell and his wife Christina (nee Gunn) arrived in New Zealand in December 1856 from Nova Scotia with their 9 children (un-named in shipping list (ship = Gertrude)). Their youngest daughter Christina Annie married in Auckland 1870. Any ideas on how I can research them in Nova Scotia????? They seem to be from St Anne's/Cape Breton if this helps |
