I don't know about Boston but Lincoln central Reference library did a Lincoln search for me (covering one address for nine years) and charged me 80 pence for finding and posting the results to me. |

I agree with Glen, approach the library first. If you e-mail a request they will give you a price. I have had 2 electoral roll searches, one cost nothing as they found it within half hour, the other cost £10 but well worth it. |

Best bet is to approach the library first, they will be far cheaper than the archives. |

can you only access these in the town where they belong or are stored anywhere else. i live in kent and want to look at some in boston lincolnshire from the 1940's |
