Quite often illegitmate children were given their father's surname as a middle name. I have one whose descendants also have that surname given to them - so it was obviously an important/respected name/person to be carrid on like that. |

I have DB names in my family and none of them have hyphens. |

Play around with the name until you get some results...........and don't forget to select the 'soundex' option.......... |

I have such a surname in my mothers family and although I think I know where the family orignated from I can find no official trace of them. |
