info on a death cert help...

hi, i have today recieved a death cert and was hoping to match up the birth dates from the birth cert i already have...but they are different...2 days out...if the person registering the death didnt know the exact date could they give one slightly out ?? |

Yes, it was quite common for dates of birth on a death certificate to be wrong, sometimes by years! |
