Just found a brilliant website giving excellent information on exactly what is detailed on birth, marriage and death certificates. It gives in detail exactly what you will find in each column, any variations and explanations why things could be different. I found it very helpful and interesting. It also gives all the information you need to order certificates and the best place to order from i.e. GRO and how to go about it. |
