It is possible that the birth wasn't registered ( my mother's, in 1906, wasn't) or it could have been missed from the index. |

Your grandmother may have been illegitimate. Have you checked under her mother's maiden name. I found my grandmother's registration under her mother's maiden name. Its worth trying. |

Its unlikely it wasnt registered. You may not be casting a wide enough net. |

It would seem my Grandmothers birth wasn't recorded. No records to be found. I only have a date of 1903 to go on. Can someone tell me how I go about finding when and where she was born? |
