The only Timekeepers I know are the men whose job it was to ensure everyone clocked in and out of the engineering factory I worked out. It was to work out wages etc. I think its likely he was a timekeeper at an aircraft engineering works. |

Could he have been the bod who wrote down the times when the planes took off and landed? Was it during the war? Perhaps he had to check in the planes that returned from sorties. |

This is the only Timekeeper I am aware of but there maybe other types, like a one in aircrafts. |
