Hi. Thankyou for your replies. Its a bit complicated in that he probably didn't know my mum was born as he was sent abroad before it was discovered my grandmother was pregnant. To further complicate it he isn't named on my mums birth certificate but he is named in her adoption file (my mum was put up for adoption at 6 months old). My grandmother died in 1987 so i never got a chance to know her or ask her anything about it. She didn't marry Anthony either so there is no marriage certificate.......What a nightmare!! |

If you order the birth cert for his son/daughter (your father/mother) then at least you will know the names of both your grandparents (including the maiden name of your grandmother). |
