I am trying to prove which of half a dozen Margaret Brown birth certs on the register, is my grandmothers. I have her 2 marriage certs (she was widowed in 1918 ) and her death certificate, all giving an age which--if worked backwards, gives dates of birth from 1881 to 1885. In that 5 year period, there are about 6 Margaret Brown's, all with her father's name of James, who was a dock labourer in Liverpool. I have no other information about my grandmother. Thank you---Philip. |
