My great grandfather Leonard Train was born in 1853 and is shown on 1901 census as being a seaman born in Portland U.S.A. he married my great grandmother in the late 1890's, and stayed in the U.K, but I cannot find out how to trace him, there is more than one Portland in the U.S. and all I know is his birth year, anybody have any ideas. Thanks Carol |

Well done Margaret - I abandoned the search yesterday after finding nothing on the family search site. |
