Think your right 1851 Maria Nairn ( Moira 1841 ) but no Philip but he does have a 3mth old child so is around somwhere, now i'm off at a tangent again Philip is only my gt gt grand dads boss. |

I think it should be Nairn. There are births on Freebmd under that name for two of the children on the census, Maria and Caroline in Belford registration district. |

Hi Sue thanks how did you decide Philip Nairn was head it only shows occupation on 1841?. if your right then my ancester was working for Mr Nairn |

trying to find who owned it in 1841 & what it was used for census is no help my ancester was a coachman but was he the coachman to the household or just lodging? by 1851 he is coachman to John Gordon at Cluny Castle it would be nice if John Gordon owned Waren House. any advice would be welcome.
