I have been searching for some time now for a family in the 1871 census, but no luck to date. I have found the wife and children in the 1881 census and she is recorded as "married general labourers wife", but he must have been away working at the time of the census. |

how about more info from the marriage cert? fathers' names and occupatoins, address at time of marriage. Was Mary's maiden name MAWDESLEY? |
