Can anyone advise me how I trace an immigrant in the early 1800"s? I have come across a GGG Grandfather in the 1841 Census born 1775 and marked as "F" in where born. I have no idea where to start looking and would appreciate guidance from all you knowledgable folks! |

Thanks for responding Guys. The surname is Haskill and I will "google" it to find out any history. The christian name is Erikiel but on the 1841 Census is shown as Erbert. Unfortunately by 1851 Mrs Haskill is shown as a widow! |
