I have found someone on the 1891 census age 78 by the surname Pool I then found a death which I think is for the same person in 1900 but the name is Poole with an E in June age 87.

Do you think this is the same person

Anythings possible Margaret.
Death certificates are often wrong with the age because the informant was unsure of actual date of birth.
There could be a clue on the actual death certificate with an address or the informant being a relation.

The age is OK....and the spelling of the name could be due to illiteracy on the part of the informant.
