Hi everyone,
I am trying to locate a birth certificate for a member of my family.
The census for 1861, 1871 and 1881 show his place of birth as Smithfield, Middlesex. However, I cannot find a district listed for Smithfield.
Can anyone help me by letting me know which district I should be looking for when searching the birth indexes? Is it Edmonton, Holborn etc??
