because they provide one with an actual copy of certificates, the fee is £7 and i can not fault their service. |

Just to note that the GRO certs are actual copies of the copy of the actual cert - if that makes sense. |

I always use the GRO. Have a handwritten copy of my g grandfather's birth certificate. Despite it being stored in acid free, dark, conditions, the ink used has faded to the extent that I may have to order a replacement. |

Admitedly, my example is outside GRO's jurisdiction, but I have to ask best for what? |
