Wellington City Council here in New Zealand has now gone on line with its database for burials, cremations and ashes burial. You can search at 3 different cemeteries-Bolton Street 1849-1967; Karori 1891-present day and also Makara Cemetery 1965-present day. You can just search by surname and put a very loose guess at year of death & it will give you any matches to that name, in any or all of the 3 cemeteries. |
