I have just been watching an old episode of "Who do you think you are" and they referred to Booth's Poverty Map, so I checked it out and this is a map of all the streets in London in 1898/9, coloured to show how prosperous or how poor the street was at the time. |

just had a look and my family were well to do!! Not sure what happened over the years?? |

I just looked and my family were quite well to do when they ran a beer house in a street in Walworth, SE London in 1878 which was coloured red, but they moved to Holborn at the end of that year due to falling on hard times and lived in a street that was coded purple, meaning poor. |
