There's a web site called www.aboutmyplace.co.uk put in the postcode and look at the map. It will then offer you a bird's eye view. You can zoom in. It's amazing!

Hello Jan I live near Plumstead hope the house is still there my OH went to look at a house where his grandmother died and it was gone flats built instead send me an email an I will take a photo

My Mum remembers being taken to an address in Plumstead to visit a family member and as I live in Hampshire, wondered whether anybody who lives near the Common, could take a photo of the house for me, so I could show it to my Mum and try to get her memories going.

She visited around 1952, so I appreciate that the house would have probably changed but it could solve the mystery of where she was taken
