K - thanks... Ive tried that one too !!! unfortunately my tree is quite complicated in parts. You see my grandmother was a Slaughter and I married a Slaughter (different family) but our paths have crossed several times.... the one you speak of is from my husbands tree !!! |

Have you looked through the complete images on Ancestry? My only other thought is that she was christened with a different name such as Miriam Lavinia (there is one born in Steyning in 1899) but known as Mary L. Just a thought |

It might be worth a little phone call. They are really helpful there and may only charge a couple of quid to find and copy the info for you. |
