I have vista and had no trouble saving a record off there. It went straight into my photograph file (my pictures in documents.)

Dea, I had this problem with Vista, you need to have
'Internet Options' then 'Protected Mode Off' and then they save OK

Thank you Reggie - The problem is B**** B****** VISTA !!! - Don't anyone change to it - IT IS USELESS !!!!!!!!!

I have managed to save page 1 of 13 BUT Vista, in it's wisom has decided that 'for security reasons' it will save them in temporary files BUT doesn't tell me where !!!!!!!

I have now just found page 1 (+ some others I tried to save a few weeks ago) in "Virtualised>C>Users>Dea>Documents ..........

Managed to e-mail it to myself !!!!!

Only 12 more pages to go folks (If I can remember how I got here!

Save.........using the icon above the image.....then e-mail as attachment(s)

If you use the 'send to a friend' option, Ancestry keeps a record, and stops you if you do too many

Tried both of them - Ancestry won't let me save to computer - only to shoebox.

Tried printing then scanning - have a new 'all in one scanner thingy' (+ new Vista system) - It will only save to temporary files, then I can't find them !!!

Sorry - all going wrong here !!!!!
