I finally managed to get the photo in by putting it onto another website, which must have automatically reduced it in size. I then saved it to my computer and from there put it onto your site. Have to be a bit devious or think laterally with these computers. Mustnt let them boss us.

I got into it ok, have now registered as I was going to put some of my old photos on it, but they are all too big. A relative had scanned them for me. One of the smaller ones is 39KB, which I presume is too big for the 512 bytes max size stated. Or is it? But many of the others are over 100 KB.
The first one I was trying to put in has 3 people who are not related. One is the mother-in-law of a gt gt uncle, and the 2 others are work mates of my gt grandfather, from the London PO. Names F. Poore and F, Thornbury.
