I am trying to find out who the parents of Thomas A Whittaker are he was born about 1854, Caistor, Grimsby, Lincolnshire.He could have also been known as Tom or Alfred, he died about 1883.

Why do you think he was born in Caistor. What proof have you got?

I don't know for a fact that he was born in Caistor but i do think it was somewhere in Grimsby.

Have you got the marriage cert?

So really you could have put down that you knew he married Charlotte. It would have saved me time finding the marriage and then the 1881 info.
