I have the following information from certificates and census returns.

Agnes Southern (nee hesketh) (1842 Liverpool) married William Henry Norman (1847 liverpool) sept 1877 liverpool .

I have them in 1881 census as in 1881 census lived 75 dale street walton on the hill lancashire.pro RG11/2687 folio 22 page 38.

and 1901 census as living 4 Marsden Villa Birkenhead Cheshire.RG13; Piece: 3397; Folio: 28; Page: 47

what i am looking for is them in 1891 to see if there were anymore siblings.Can anybody spot them please.

that is them in 1901, but can't seem to find them in 1891 . thanks for trying.

unfortunately that can't be them as William Henry Norman was father and the son was called William Hesketh Norman a name which has come down the generations and was his mother's maiden name.

1891 has William and Emma Reynolds at 75 Dane Street, so they will have moved before 1891.

Could this be them? It's not a mistranscription, the original reads Newman.

Update, Sorry just realized this is the same one that Claire posted earlier.

I agree, it is the best match to be found, isn't it? I've had a look for this family either side of 1891 and the Florence/Charles/Harold family appear again on the 1901 census here:

Class: RG13; Piece: 3458; Folio: 19; Page: 31

- so it is different to the family that Lizz is seeking.

It will probably turn out to be the most stupid mistranscription ever.
