Hi, I just wondered when the next census would be released? And would it be 1911?

Thanks

1911 is due for full release in 2012

For details check the nationalarchives website

It will be the 1911, it will be on general full relase from 1st Jan 2012. Before then though, it is hoped parts will be available online with private details omitted. Before then, if you have an address, it can be checked at a cost of £45 per address, again without the private details such as infirmaties etc.

Jan 1st 2012 for the 1911 census I believe.

You can access limited information already for single addresses only via the National Archives already but its quite expensive

"Recently (April 2007), National Archives announced that ScotlandOnline will be their partner in the project to put the 1911 census for England and Wales online. From 2009 there will be a phased release of the information starting with the major conurbations; this will include images and transcription data.

A caveat on this is that "personally sensistive" information will not be available until 3 January 2012. "
