Hi Sue, Yes I've only just found her death too and marriage, didn't think of it untill after I put up thread.

Thanks for confirming my thoughts they are the same family. I've taken a much closer look at surroundig families and again at both census' and noticed the address on both is WaterWorks, which again confirms them as same family.

Thank you so much for taking the time to check them out for me. Regards, Lou

Hi Looby Loo,
just a thought but could Mary have died and William remarry?
entry on fbmd for Mary Ann Baker died 1892 age 34? also a William Baker married an Agnes in 1893? The rest of the family seems to be the same ones.

Hi, Could someone please take a look at two census and tell me if they think they are the same family. The father's occupation is Engine driver, which is on 1891 census but in 1901 his occupation is a Foreman at Water Works! Father & children's birth years are the same, but wife's name has changed from Mary A to Agnes!!!

So confused, like other's opinions please.

1891 RG12; Piece: 2216; Folio 41; Page 8; GSU roll: 6097326.
1901 RG13; Piece: 2757; Folio: 120; Page: 26.

William Henry Baker b 1857 Modley Staffordshire head
Mary Ann Baker b Worcestershire
Alice b 1882 Huntington Staffordshire
William b 1886 Huntington
Dora b 1889 Bereton Staffordshire

Thanks in advance, Lou
