I am trying to find my gr grand mums 1st husband John Willie Mclaren i know that he was born 1883 in Petworth, he married my gr grand mum in 1906, my nan was born in 1914,although she was known as mclaren, she had father unknown on her birth cert. I can now find no trace of John Willie Mclaren. He may have gone either to Canada or the Usa, i haven't got a clue as to where i should be looking, can any one point me in the right direction Please |

As the birth cert said 'father unknown', it is unlikely that John Mclaren was her father, if he was (or had been) married to the mother. |
