Dear Wendy

Try the following website for Nova Scotia records: -

Hi all,
I am in desperate need of some clues as to how to find an ancestor who was born in Nova Scotia around 1827, and then he came to Australia. It is too early for official records, and I haven't found a site like Genes based over there. I have left messages on different boards, but no go. His name is in question. His marriage certificate is in Stuart, and so are half of his kids. The other half are in Stewart. Both sides of the family thought they were the only ones until not too long ago!

Anyone got any ideas apart from a professional researcher?

TIA
Wendy
