It looks as if the National Archives have a record for 1850 ...

Anyway it is a useful guide on how to research criminal ancestors.

And it doesn't look as if the Devon Record Office have anything...

I have found an ancestor who died in Dartmoor prison,
can somebody point me in the right direction to find out more.
