how do i go about looking up a birth in southern i

Dear Teresa
as i was told by st finbar soutrh church told that john died in 1931 age 40 this makes him boen 1891 but the records office says there no record of his birth
and i cant find a record of his parents marrige or any of the siblings
i just dont know were yo look

Iv'e nudged up my thread for you..

'IRELAND GRO websites.....for those that don't know'

You will be able to order BDM certificates from here.

No records on liine that you can search like the England & Wales Registrations but as you have the approx year of birth and both parents names you should be able to get the birth certificate.

many more siblings RC religion
john served in france 1st world war ive army number
was a blacksmith
address when getting married was 52 commons rd cork
died 29/12/1931 in cork city age 40 at 13 evergreen st cork city
