thank you for your inputs I have other parish records from the records office of Suffolk but I will have to see about the library for the area of Essex that I want. |

I can see two William Finch baptisms for 1834 in Essex and they are both non-conformists. Were the Records Office actually looking at the non-conformist records as these are usually held separately from the usual C of E parish records. |
