Hi Sarah -- I just thought I'd update your thread with what got found.

I had previously downloaded the viewer for the NS records, so had a look.

Her place of birth was Harbour Grace, Newfoundland (Nfld).

Little place in northern Newfoundland on the Avalon Peninsula, on Conception Bay. Here's its website. ;)

Then I found a wonderful site full of genealogy info for that neighborhood -- Harbour Grace and other places around Conception Bay.

I understand that Sarah's family is likely still waiting for her to emerge from there. ;)

thanks for trying to help, I can't email you a copy, I can't even print a copy off it comes out blank,
They have some terms & conditions so you have to buy the cert.

Sarah i did that but only showed me the registration book ref ..seems I need the viewpoint media player to actually view it . I have media players already installed so don't want to download any different ones. Sorry .

Hi Shirley,
there are 2 buttons you can click view or buy, if you click to view, it will bring up the image of the book on the right page and you can see the image.
