I think I will cross reference the Mary's born c1872, Surrey with marriages to Wellman's. Or maybe William and Mary were just not married?

William is only my gt gt uncle, but I hate loose ends!

Hello again,

I recieved the birth certificate for William David Lewis and his mother was Mary Jane Wellman.

The problem is, I can't find a marriage between a William Lewis and a Mary Wellman or evan a Mary Wellman born 1872 Richmond, Surrey on any other census!

Can anybody help please?
