Someone somewhere must be related to one of the 6 brothers and sisters I would like to trace - they are Albert E. Whitley age 29 in 1901 census so born 1871/2. Lodging in Harborne, Birmingham in 1901. Born Wellington, Salop/Shropshire, also Elizabeth Rebecca, Clara E., Thomas William, Mary Dora and John Ernest. Their father was Nathan born 1831 in Wakefield and mother Mary Sankey born in Condover, Shropshire, 1834. Mary and Nathan ran a Temperance Hotel in Wellington, Shropshire in the 1870s in Crown Street and moved latterly to Birkenhead. I know only about John Ernest. STILL NO FURTHER FORWARD - Sept.06 |
