Elizabeth Report 22 Mar 2003 04:01

WHEELER,Ebenezer George. Born 1876 in Beckington, Somerset. His parents were Andrew Wheeler and Fanny Wheeler (formerly Batt). He was married to Annie Kathleen Jones Wheeler (formerly Pickford)at a church in Weston, Bath, Somerset and they had three children (now all deceased) - Marjory Pearl Wheeler (later Doel), Christine Winifred Wheeler (later Cox) and Frederick John Wheeler (my Father) who married Betty Hambridge. I know very little else about Ebenezer George Wheeler (my Grandfather) other than that he was a Steam Roller/lorry driver, worked for Sidney Barnes of Southwick, near Trowbridge, Wiltshire. He separated from his wife and I understand went to Battersea in London where he worked for Chivers and Son (though this is only hearsay). He had a hook on his right arm having lost his hand in an accident. I am very anxious to find out anything I can about him, however small.
