SANDRY AKA SANDERSON I am compiling a family tree and I am trying to find out any information about my maternal grandfather WILLIAM HENRY SANDRY AKA SANDERSON. He was killed in a car accident and died on the 26th May 1934 at the Victoria Hospital Deal Kent. He worked at Betteshanger Coal Mine. His parents were of German origin and were called William and Mary and lived in Glamorgan and then later in Somerset. I understand he was in the army poss Royal Artillery at some stage and may have been at Woolwich Arsenal. My grandmothers name was Annie Thomas I know he had sisters named Mary, Francis, Evelyn, Elsie. He may have had a young brother killed in the navy in WW1. I would be grateful for any information. Thank you |
