Hello. It's a long time since you posted your request and I'm sorry buut I can't help you with George Allen.

However, I notice that your grandmother was a JELL. I'm hoping to trace an ANN JELL, a spinster of Margate, who married George Stevens on Xmas Day 1819 at St John's Church, Margate, Kent. I think they were ancestors of my maternal Grandfather, Edward Stevens.

Jell is such an unusual name that I wondered if there might be a connection ?

hi is there anyone out there that could help me find details on my late grandfather his name was george charles allen born i think in woolwich around 1919 married my grandmother betty jell.. thats all i know about him

can anyone help please...............
