John - welcome to the boards.

Michael posted his query over 8 years ago and hasn't returned to the boards since - he may or may not be a member still.

You can try clicking on his name to send a Personal message - if he still has the same email address that he had when he registered with Genes Reunited he will be notified that there is a message for him. You then have to hope that he opens it (check whether your message to him in your out box still has a closed envelope by the side of it) and replies. Be aware that for many reasons he may not receive the message and/or may not reply

Hi Michael
If my researches are correct, Dudley Frederick Wright was born Frederick James William Last on12 Jul 1868 in Cheyne Walk, Chelsea, London and baptised on the 12 Jul 1868 at St Luke's Church, Chelsea, London, son of James Last (1839-1914) & Jane McNulty (1839-1893).
He was first married to Elizabeth Thompson (1863-1942) on the 18 May 1891 at St Matthew's Church Denmark Hill Camberwell and they had 3 children:
Frederick James Last (1892-1966)
Lililan Rose Mary last (1899-1979)
Guy Alexander Last (1901-1975).
After the birth of Guy Alexander Last, he seperated from his wife and adopted the name Dudley Frederick Wright.and his son Guy was also known as Guy Alexander Wright from the 1911 census onwards and, I believe, is the Alec you refer to
After he met Annie Elizabeth Knappett, they had a further 2 children:
Dudley Edgar Wright (1908-1984)
Percy Bernard Wright (1910-1989)
After Annie Knappett, Dudley had a 3rd partner, Elizabeth Florence Maria Kelly (1874-1956), to whom he left his small estate.
Dudley Frederick Wright was an Author and Freemason.
He died on 7 Mar 1949 at St Andrew's Hospital, Bow, London.
Frederick William James Last aka Dudley Frederick Wright was my 2nd cousin 2 x removed..
At this moment in time, I cannot trace a record of yourself?

Looking for any information on my Great Grandfather
born 1868 Chelsea. died 7.mar 1949.
He had 3 sons with Annie Elizabeth Knappett.Percy, Alec and my grandfather Dudley. He was already married when he met Annie Knappett so they never married.
I know he was an Author and Freemason. But i can not find him on any census return.
