I am looking for Jean Lois Harvey nee Sharpe. Born 1933 and last known of in Brighton area. She is the mother of Paul Ashton born 1952 and Linda Ashton born 1951. Paul went into an orphanage and later lived with his father John Ashton. Linda is thought to have stayed with maternal grandparents Kenneth and Jo. Jean Lois remarried after divorce from John Ashton, a John R F Harvey in Hove 1956. Paul would very much like to find his mother, or have news of her, and his sister.

i have relatives from hastings, wonder if you can help? my great grandfather was william harvey he married ivy sargent and had my grandfather george william c1922 gladys and jean(no dates) but i think they had moved to hampshire with the army by then.i have no living harveys to find info from and william seems to be a popular first name i confess this branch of the family tree is quite empty. The only information i have is that william is buried in the old town cemetry and my grandmother says my grandad used to holiday in hastings as a child with his grandmother their was a fishing connection and they lived in the old town... very vague
