Trying to find Quinlan

trying to find the Quinlan, Scannel and Welch relatives all are from Cork City and County Cork. Jack Quinlan from Barracks Street, Blackpool, Fair Hill and Frenches Quay, Rope Walk, Washbrew Lane,Hanover Street and Kaisers Hill Cork City his mother maiden name was Mary Murphy from blackpool, buried in Douglas Cemetrary his father was a merchant seaman went to Sydney austrailia / new zeland returned to Cork in 1911/2 and died shortly after. Jack born 1893/3 - 1953/5 he served in the Munster Fuisilers in WW1, he married a Lily Scannell born July 1900- December 1983 also from Frenches Quay, Kaisers Hill. her parents were John and Janie Scannell, Janie's maiden name was Welch her father worked as an Inspector at the City Hall it was an arranged marrage, John Scannell also had two previous wives (deceased) John was a Master Builder, Janie trained as a nurse in Canterbury England, (her sister also lived in Canterbury, she had a Brother called Edward know by the name of 'Special' he lived in Domnic Square Cork City another sister called Margaret.) Janie was a Dealer in the Coal Quay, midwife, layed out the dead. Her mothers maiden name was Mary Wigmore, there are connections with Whitegate, Aghada, Middleton, Mitchlestown, Scull. Does any of this ring a bell or can you find these in your family tree blessings Jodie

Hi Jodie:

I believe that the Jack Quinlan that you are referring to is my great grandmother's younger brother. If it is the same Jack (or John) Quinlan who was living on Washbrew Lane in 1911, it is definitely the right family.
