Paula Sorry - had to leave the PC early last night! Thanks so much for that:) It's great to have some info on them - I haven't got any specific requests but if you come across any Puseys while your researching let me know and I'd be very chuffed:) I think my John may be the younger of the two and the one bapt 1765 as he had a sister Anne according to the IGI - the only one I can find. Also there are no Whilts but there is a Sarah Wiltshire bapt 1761 Uffington who looks promising. Thanks very much for your help David |

Hi David, Children of John and Sarah christened at Uffington, 27/3/1791 Susanna, d john and sarah, baulking 13/5/1792 Mary "" 9/3/1794 Richard aged 20 days 3/4/1796 John 15/4/1798 Robert (aged fortnight) 7/12/1800 George (aged 13 days) I don't know if this your John!! 16/2/1765 Puzey, John, s John and Jane, Uffington. I did have a look for the marriage of John and Jane, but unfortunately the register for 1738-1754 inclusive is missing, and what they have listed is taken from the BT's. These burials may be of interest to you! 21/6/1835 Pusey, John, 71 5/2/1837 Pusey, John, 83 22/12/1843 Pusey, Sarah, 86 I am more than happy to look for anything else for you. I have the PR's for Uffington, Woolstone, Fernham, Baulking and Bourton, also the 1861 census index for the faringdon district, which includes Uffington! Best wishes Paula |

Hi Paula That's brilliant already thank you - when I used to go to Berks Records Office a decade or so ago Uffington records had been withdrawn for some reason so I didn't have a lot of luck with my Puseys and those on the IGI are incomplete - thanks:) David |

Hi Paula My great x4 grandmother Susanna Pusey/Pewsey was born and baptised in Uffington in 1790, daughter of John & Sarah Pusey. This might be a bit vague but I'd be grateful if you could give me any info on John and Sarah. I have a note from years ago that Sarah was living and recorded as aged 80 in the 1841 census and presume that John was dead. I know Pusey was a common name in Baulking and Uffington but any help would be much appreciated:) Thanks David |

I have the parish records for Uffington, Berks from 1606-1990.I can look up for you if you give me a rough date and name! |
