Alice Mannings is the youngest daughter of William Mannings and Sarah nee Apps. Shortly after her birth William Disappears and Sarah is living with William Hollands at Snargate Romney Marsh. She appears on the 1891 census twice.at Netherfield Road battle the parents of William Holland as Sarah Hollands daughter in law and her daughter Alice Mannings listed as grand daughte of Emma Hollands. She is also on the census at snargate Kent as Sarah Mannings as head with William Hollands a boarder and the other three Mannings children. In the 1890s she had three children with William Barrow Emily, Percy william and daisy and in 1898 Albert who died after 5 days on the birth and death certificates the father is recorded as William Hollands. On the 1901 census all the children except Alice is are recorded as Hollands except Alice who is a 'legitimate' Mannings. Sarah Mannings married George Brown in 1914 and she died as Sarah Brown in Milton Kent 1927.
