Welcome to the Boards Leanne - ideally your post should have been posted on the Find Living Relatives board, but never mind.

If you are related and believe that Stewart was adopted, then add your name to the Adoption Contact Register and hope that he has too.

Have you managed to trace his mother, or any half siblings? They may be able to shed some light on what happened. If you don't know his birth mother's name, as the birth was more than 50 years ago, it might be possible to order it without his full dob from

Use the details you found on the gro index. He might have been born at the end of the previous year - there was 6 weeks to register a birth.

Use the Search All Members Trees (top right of the page) to see if anyone has him or his mother listed in their trees, and send them a message.

We are trying to locate a person by the name of stewart morley that was born in the quarry baby house in lincoln in jan 1962. We have found his birth records but we want to find out who adopted him and if his name changed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, leanne.

Does anyone know how to find out the exact address of The Quarry, Lincoln. Iit was a Mother and baby home until 1967 ish. Thank you
