Find Ancestors

I have a James Stott (blacksmith Old Malachar Aberdeen) who married an Elspeth Ross (G,G,G grandfather) but can't find any brothers or sisters or any other relations in Scotland nor what ship they migrated out to Australia on. I would appreciate any help before I finally go crazy. Have tried going to Scotish sites but get confused. B C Stott

I can't actually help...but do have people in the same area who married ROSS. Please will you give approximate dates, then folk here can give better advice. Gwyn

CHRISTIAN ANN WINCHESTER STOTT Female Birth: 06 OCT 1832 Old Machar, Aberdeen, Scotland Parents: Father: JAMES STOTT Family Mother: CHRISTIAN ROSS This matches with the Christian on Ancestry but with a diff mothers name but the 'Winchester' is also used with james and elspeths son!!!!
