Hi Sian,

This is just a suggestion as Jax is correct - it is an old thread, but I notice that Sally's comments could lead you somewhere. Look up the Heddle Family Tree owned by Merianne or click on Sally's name and pm her. You may find some connection to come forward. I also note that Sally posted her comments in 2009, but worth a try.

Hi Richard, My grandmother Blanche Davies was the younger sister of Fred and I have quite a lot of information if you are still around on here.

Hi Richard, I saw your pictures on the internet of your speedy relation "Tenby"
I'm sure by now you have much more information, but do check the Heddle Family Tree (owned by merianned) on GR it mentions Joseh Henry Davies who died in Australia.

I only answered this because it seemed you had no replies, my family of Daviess oftern
visited Tenby, but lived in Pontypridd, my father ran for Glamorgan and played rugby for
Wales, so Davies genes are sporty!

Trying to find the families connected to my family tree. My Grandfather's name Frederick Charles Davies married an Agnes Emily Ferguson. They had 3 children. Joseph, Dorothy and Peggy. Freddy passed away July 1932 at his home in Preswylfa Street Canton Cardiff. where he lived for over 20 years. In the Sporting Chronicle he made headlines.It said,'A FAMOUS WELSH ATHLETE DEATH OF 'Tenby Davies'. Referred to as Freddy Davies the greateast runner Wales has produced & one of the finest 1/2 milers ever seen The paper was dated Wednesday July 27 1932. THis is all I have to go on . Hope someone can help Cheers from Australia. Richard Davies
