Wilson Report 15 Dec 2002 00:27

Janet Cabrera Looking for surname of PRATT, great-grandfather of my husband was called Alfred PRATT; he was killed in Jamaica; whilst working as a teacher and married to Sarah Franson Smith, a Jamaican; they had one son together, Alfred Yuregy PRATT FRANSON. After he was killed my husband's grandfather came to England with his mother and paternal grandmother, Mrs Pratt for a short while, to bury his father. This Mrs Pratt, was English and stayed in England, but Sarah Franson Smith returned to Jamaica with her son, my husband's grandfather. From there, at the age of 16, he travelled to South America with a friend and ended up in Ecuador in 1901, at the age of 17, where he stayed for the rest of his life. His mother had married again whilst he was in Jamaica and his step-father didn't like him and that is why he left for South America. We believe his mother had another son with her new husband with the name of Arthur/Arturo ?Clarke Looking for Sarah FRANSON SMITH great grandmother of my husband Wilson Alfredo Cabrera Pratt. Also looking for anyone with the surname PRATT FRANSON, who could be related. Don't know where to start. We are living in England.
