BALL I am trying to trace my family tree on my fathers side. I know that my Gt grandfather was called Samuel Ball, born in 1853 in Dudley and was married to Mary A born 1856(maiden name not known).They had 4 sons and 3 daughters. They lived in Durham some time before moving back to Rotherham.My grandfather was also called Samuel,married to Eliza Jane Houghton (Eliza's father James, and mother Sophia where born in Cambridge) and had 3 sons and 4 daughters.In 1901 they were living in Parkgate, Rotherham.He was a coal miner,and in later life they moved to Dalton,Rotherham. If anyone could help with any information I would be grateful. |
