eliza holland-my grandmother married jack oshea and lived in west ham -custom house -she was born about 1897 at 39 elsa st limehouse her parents were sarah ann holland(nee shepheard and james holland--she had 2 sisters ginny and sara and brother jim-her parents were costermongers or involved in fish trade in some way , It is a family rumor that her father james was hung but i have checked all the hanging records and can find nothing in uk . jack and eliza oshea lived in jersey rd custom house for a lot of years and had 13 children .She never spoke of her parents-and her children never knew them. |
